Right now plans are to have it include 9 live tracks, 3 new songs and a Beherit cover. We have so far written some songs but they are still unnamed and with no lyrics as far as I know. But we should be recording very soon and then this disc of hellish might will be cast forth upon all of the world. Why a CD live? Why not? We have tons of board tapes since I like to keep archives on this band and try to record every show we do just for my own personal reasons. So since we have these tapes at our disposal and it's not like we tour at all so we just figured other maniacs from other parts of the world may want to experience a Kult ov Azazel ritual. Triumph Of Fire. it is a great piece of Extreme and chaotic Black Metal and without a doubt this has caused that many turn their eyes towards which it happens in the scene of the USA. you feel that you’re receiving a greater attention by part for example of ‘clossed European scene’? Thanks for the comments on Triumph of Fire. We are very pleased with it and think it's the best work and recording we have done to date. I guess the reason that many are looking towards North America or the US for black metal would be because most of the black metal coming out now here is true black metal and not gay/techno like much of the bands from Europe have evolved into over the years. Think that this must in measurement to which it happens mainly in the Norway scene and its bands which are overturning their sound towards pure shit and forgetting the true values that mean this perverse music... I agree and it just seems more and more bands end up along this path. The way I look at it is this, fuck them! Ok, Can you tell me something about the lyrics of ‘Triumph Of Fire’? There are some titles like "Altar Of Satan", "Destruction to The Throne Of God" or "Embrace The Burning". What do you want to express with it? How important are lyrics to you? Is it like a necessary evil to you or do they mean more to you? Are they as important as the music? Please give me your point of view about it and tell us something about the lyrics of the mentioned songs. Lyrics are just as important part to the song as the music so yes I believe they play a major part when it comes to any song. I don't do most the writing, almost everything is written by Xul, yet the two songs you ask about, being "Altar of Satan" and "Destruction to the Throne of God" are the only two songs I have written lyrics for. So I will speak about these two song in particular. None of the lyrics I have written are evil for the sake of being evil. I take a lot of time writing lyrics, mainly one of the reasons I don't contribute more, so they do mean much more to me. Both of these songs lyrically were composed over about a 2 month time period, so like I said I don't rush lyrics or write them for the sake of just penning cliché satanic lyrics. As for the content and meaning behind these two songs, "Altar of Satan" is pretty much a destruction ritual in a sense put forth in lyrical form and "Destruction.." is my interpretation of the myth concerning the war in heaven fought by Lucifer and the rebelling angels. I'm a great fanatic of vinyl and I have know that is possible that 'Order of the Fly' is out on vinyl. tell me about this... This is something I have been working on for a long time now and finally a true supporter of our horde (Sedit of Evil Divine/ex-Vukodlak) stepped up and grabbed siege of the opportunity by releasing it on his label Crooked Crosses Records. So this re-release in vinyl form will be limited to 300 hand numbered copies and will include 2 extra live tracks which are Symbionic 666 and a cover of Chainsaw Gutsfuck. Last I heard it was in the process of being printed and that we should have them by end of April. We are also releasing Triumph of Fire on vinyl to the same number of copies and if it does well maybe more but the first 100 will be colored vinyl and hand numbered as well. This will be out in just a couple of weeks. Can you tell us something about how and why KULT OV AZAZEL was formed? Why did you end up playing blackmetal and what has influenced you? Kult ov Azazel was formed because both Xul and myself felt the need to spread anti-christian propaganda and keep the true flame of black metal burning. I have always been influenced musically and when it came to learning guitar by bands like Venom, Destruction, Bathory, Possessed, Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Sodom, the early extreme shit. That's what I grew up listening to in the 80's and that is what influenced me greatly. Do you have already a permanent drummer for the band?, what is the line-up today? What kind of persons are the Kult ov Azazel members? Yes, right now our permanent drummer is Goss "The Hammer". He joined last year but due to his work schedule he has not spent much time working closely with the band, so we spend time practicing and writing with Vetis as session. So today the lineup is Xul on vocals and bass, myself on guitar and Goss on drums. Perhap the limits of the whole pathetic christians is to think in what is "Good" and "Bad" for other people, without thinking in their own benefit, then do you agree with me when I say that the big obstacle for them is the "Moral" and the "Immoral"? I don't waste my time thinking about the problems christians have with their personal lives. I manifest my beliefs through my art, no one else's. I admired LaVey too, but I do not worship the guy. Admiration and plain out cock sucking are 2 different things. What think of which make fun of this organization and bands related to this? Doesn't bother me, who gives a shit what people say. People do and will always talk shit so who cares, I don't, about them or their opinions! You think that is necessary to be part of a Satanist circle?, is possible to take a satanic ideology without belonging to anything? No I don't find it necessary. Yes it's possible to take satanic ideology without belonging to anything which I did for many years. In fact to this day, even though I am a member of the Church of Satan, I am no part of a circle except for this band. I joined the CoS out of respect for a certain ideology I found merit in and because it has always been an organization that has pushed to show that christianity is what it is, a fucking farce. But as for belonging to any circle, my only circle is this band. Are you satisfied with the results of your blasphemies works in a genre like the black metal that you play, . How has been the response of maniacs fans? Yes I am pleased with everything that we have written and recorded. We have progressed I think in our writing and playing since say "Order of the Fly" but we continue to embrace black metal the way in which it was created and will continue to do so. The response from the maniacs has since the beginning always been strong. We seemed to have gained many supporter and allies over the years and continue to gain more with every passing day.
