Couple of site updates which include new interviews with Satan's Sadist and Funeral March Zines. The bio and release pages were updated as well.

January 19, 2009 -
The release date for Destroying The Sacred has been delayed until June. We were informed from Arctic Music that the North American distributor has refused to distribute the album due to the cover art. This is the not the first time we have encountered problems likes this with our releases be it the graphic or lyrical content. We have already remedied the situation with a slip insert that will go over the cover art and the only real setback is that the original release date has been pushed back.

The good news however is we have streamed another new track on the Kult ov Azazel myspace page. The song is Storm The Gates and is track 4 on the forthcoming album. We have also confirmed participation on a Venom tribute split with Teratism. This split vinyl release will be titled In League With Satan and released through Negativity Records with a limited run of 666 copies. We are also working on putting together a CD/DVD release to be released later in the year through Arctic Music.

Magazines, radio programs and web based publications which are interested in interviews and other media/press related requests can contact the band at press@kultovazazel.com.

A cover of Black Flag's song My War has been uploaded for stream by clicking the link below.

It may seem strange that we would cover a Black Flag song to many. The truth of the matter is it has been no secret that Xaphan and Hammer are both fans of old 80's punk and hardcore and to some extent even Xul. Xaphan has bore the Black Flag symbol on his wrist for 18 years. So out of honor for Black Flag we decided to bang out a cover of My War while we were recording the new album.

So here it is, our homage to one of the greatest punk bands to exist!

My War (Black Flag cover)

While in the studio we kept a journal of sorts as the days went by. So here it is:

10.28.2008
Arrived at Mana Studio around 12:30 pm in the afternoon. Spent the day acquiring drum supplies, setting up the kit and getting tones.

10.29.2008
Got to the studio around 11:00 am and started tracking. Spent the day tracking and completing drum tracks for the 9 songs that will be on the album. Tomorrow we will track drums for the 2008 version of Garden of Shadows and the cover songs we have planned to do.

10.30.2008
Arrived at the studio around 12:00 pm and started tracking about 1:00 pm. Tracked Garden of Shadows, Hang the Pope by Nuclear Assault and My War by Black Flag. Drums were completed and finished by 3:00 pm.

And due to the circumstances with Jeff Becerra's health the cover of Possessed's Holy Hell will not be on the next release. Instead we will hope and wait for his recovery and will see if he is still up to doing vocals when he is feeling better.

The next day or two we'll spend with Brian Elliot getting a drum mix before moving on to the guitar tracks.

10.31.2008
Arrived at the studio at 12:00 pm. Spent the day listening back to drum tracks and working on the kick and snare mix.

11.01.2008
Arrived at the studio at 12:00 pm. Another full day working on the drum mix.

11.02.2008
Arrived to the studio at 11:00 am. Spent a hour or so working with various pedals for the guitar tone. In the end Xaphan's original tone consisting of his Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifer head with the Boss Metal Zone was decided upon. Tracks were recorded using the new 2008 USA Select Jackson RR1 with EMG 81/85 pickup configuration. Started tracking around 1:30 pm and finshed up around 12:00 am. Dual guitar tracks for all 9 songs, the 2 covers and Garden of Shadows are done.

11.03.2008
Arrived to the studio at 11:00 am. Started tracking guitar harmonies at 12:00 pm. Harmonies were tracked with the 1985 San Dimas Jackson RR1 with EMG 81/85 pickup configuration. Finished tracking harmonies at 2:00 pm. Spent the rest of the day listening back to all drum and guitar tracks. Now working on the drum mix some more. Tomorrow bass tracks.

11.04.2008
Arrived to the studio at 12:00 pm. Xul arrived from Ft. Lauderdale around 1:30 pm. Started working on bass tones about 2:30 pm and was tracking bass by 3:00 pm. Bass tracks were recorded using a Tobias Growler with Bartolini active pickups into a Ampeg SVT-4 Pro head. Finished tracking bass around 9:30 pm. Tomorrow vocals.

11.05.2008
Arrived to the studio at 12:00 pm. Started tracking Xaphan's vocals around 2:00 pm. Finished vocal tracks for all songs by 9:00 pm.

11.06.2008
Arrived to the studio at 12:00 pm. Started tracking Xuls's vocals around 1:00 pm. Stopped tracking around 10:00 pm. Vocals finished for The Plauge of Humanity, Conquer & Decimate, Slaughter the Prophets, Gutting Religious Heritage, Destroying the Sacred, Nocturnal Blasphemy and Ancient Evil.

11.07.2008
Arrived to the studio at 12:00 pm. Started tracking Xul's vocals around 12:45 pm. Finished reamining vocal tracks by 3:00 pm. Moving on to mixdown.

11.08.2008
Arrived at the studio at 10:30 am. Spent the day working on the mix.

11.09.2008
Arrived at the studio at 12:30 am. Spent the day working on the mix, adding samples, reverb, delays and various other effects to the songs. Left around 10:00 pm with a rough mix CD of the album to listen to.

11.10.2008
Arrived at the studio at 12:00 pm. Mix from last night sounded killer but some minor adjustments needed to be made. Made the corrections and spent the rest of the day working on mastering the CD. The Order of Ennead guys stopped by and got to check out their new album which comes out in the States tomorrow. I highly recommend this release, the production and song writing is fucking amazing! After they left we went back to mastering, leaving the studio with a master reference of the album around 9:45 pm. Come back tomorrow morning to make any changes that might need to be made and then it's back to Ft. Lauderdale.

11.11.2008
Arrived at the studio at 10:00 am. Master reference from last night needed to be tweaked out a bit. We are doing that now and then the album is finished. Hope to be back in Ft. Lauderdale, FL by 6 pm. So long St. Petersburg!!! We'll update you all once we have a release date. Also expect some advance songs to be streamed on the myspace page in the coming days.

We were originally asked and prepared to do the Horna tour that many have been emailing about. There have been numerous bulletins and news sources on the internet stating we are on the tour. However, this is not the case.

We had to reschedule our studio time from August to October. We are now entering Mana Studio in Tampa, FL to record the next album titled Destroying the Sacred from October 28 thru November 11.

This not only put an end to us doing the Horna tour but also a few one offs that we had been offered. Rest assure, once the new album is recorded we will turn our focus to touring/regional shows and destroying all with force!

9 years of hatred and blasphemy and unwilling to relent!

9 years ago this month Xul and I formed what has become known as Kult ov Azazel. Over these years many members have come and gone yet this band has been consistent in our vision and to what Kult ov Azazel represents. We have remained true to the roots and never wavered from our approach despite those who openly or through media outlets have denounced, avoided or shunned us. 9 years ago this band was founded on the tenets of black metal and it will continue to remain true to these principles. Thanks to those that have supported or helped Kult ov Azazel out in any way. To you we raise the horns!

03.04.08 - Xaphan

March 12, 2008 -
We have spent the last week finalizing the new songs and laying down drum tracks for a pre-production demo of what will become our fourth album, Destroying the Sacred. Over the next few weeks we will be recording guitar and bass tracks for the demo and will most likely post some previews of these on the Kult ov Azazel MySpace page once completed. We plan to enter the studio to record the album this coming Fall. Destroying the Sacred will consist of ten new songs plus a Possessed cover with vocals by Jeff Becerra and will also complete our contract with Arctic Music which means we are open to offers from interested record labels. Those interested and which have something to offer can contact the band at k6u6l6t@kultovazazel.com.

Kult ov Azazel’s performance for this Saturday’s Autumn Equinox 5 Festival will be a unique one. Hammer and Xul will not attend due to working schedules. Instead of canceling, Xaphan has aligned a group of individuals to assist in making Kult ov Azazel’s appearance a reality. To employ the dual vocal attack that is prevalent in many songs the services of Imperial (Krieg/N.i.L.) has been recruited to cover Xul’s vocal duties. Xaphan will also be backed by VJS (Incursus/Crimson Moon) on drums, Marco Martell (Divine Empire/Malevolent Creation) on guitar, Mitch Coken (Diabolicus/ex-Engorge) on bass. For information and other bands appearing at AE5F check under the live section.

August 23, 2007 -
Kult ov Azazel has been rated one of America's top 10 Black Metal bands in the August issue of Metal Hammer (GER). The article is viewable under the media section.

Unfortunately due to personal schedule conflicts we have been forced to drop two of the shows for Canada this coming September. We will now be performing only one show, that being September 15, 2007 at the Metal Bar in Toronto, Ontario Canada.

We are also currently negotiating other dates in select US cities so keep an eye out for those. Dates will be posted under the live section as they are confirmed.

July 30, 2007 -
Canadian dates have been posted under the live section.

The band has also made the decision to morph Kult ov Azazel back to its original form keeping the core of the band a 3 piece while utilizing session members to fill in for live occasions. With this change comes the return of VJS into the band as live session member. Both Necrol and VJS will hold alternating live positions within Kult ov Azazel from here on out.

July 22, 2007 -
After much down time, Kult ov Azazel is back and available to take on touring obligations and other show offers. We will be releasing upcoming tour and festivals dates within the next few weeks. Writing for the new album has been going well. Since beginning pre-production back in December, we have the majority of the material written. We will convene again this week to finish the writing and demoing process.

The album's title will be "Destroying the Sacred" and will include 10 new songs. Two songs have yet to be written, that being taken care of this week, yet song titles/track listing will be (in no particular order) Prelude to Holocaust, The Plagues of Mankind, Slaughter the Prophet, I am the Devil, Sacrilege: Destroying the Sacred, Gutting Religious Heritage, Conquer & Annihilate and The Lucifer Principal plus a Possessed cover as a bonus track. This album will complete our 4-album contract with Arctic Music with a release date planned for early 2008.

Also in the works are preparations for the first official Kult ov Azazel DVD. Over the next few months we'll be gathering material from The Swarm of Eternal Blackness 2004 and Hellstorm of Unholy Legions 2005 tours as well as other one off shows spanning 2003-2006.

Lastly, we are in the process of confirming one live show for Mexico for this year and a 35 date tour beginning in 2008. Dates will be posted within time.

Site updates include interviews with Metalikos and Mortem Zines, Metal Insanity and Legion Webzines along with videos for Trampling the Cross, An Eternity with Satan and Invoking the Infernal Majesty under the media section.

October 26, 2006 -
After our show Tuesday night with Celtic Frost and Goatwhore it is evident that some things need to be cleared up. It seems the going rumor is the band has split up or that we are no longer active. This is not the case at all. We are very much active and continue to work on material for the next album. Scheduling conflicts lead the band to push the recording back. This same reason was also behind having to cancel/re-schedule any pending dates that we had been in discussions with promoters about. Our show on Tuesday night was our last show for the year 2006, not the last show of our career. So let it be known as long as my filthy carcass continues to live and breath this band will be in full force as it has the past 7 ˝ years since our conception. The day I no longer exist will be the day Kult ov Azazel will cease to exist!

On having the opportunity to be local support to Celtic Frost, even if for one night this was childhood dreams come true. It was also an honor to learn Martin Eric Ain was pleased to have us on the bill. I have fond memories of sitting in my bedroom in 1984 listening to my Hellhammer album with “Triumph of Death” being one the first songs I ever learned to play by ear. It’s no secret and well detailed that I have citied in numerous interviews Hellhammer and Celtic Frost as huge inspirations so I would personally like to thank M.E.A. for his conversation and support. It was truly a special night both for us and the fans that came out in support of the show. I and the rest of Kult ov Azazel would like to extend our gratitude to Celtic Frost for allowing us to partake in their monumental return!

On behalf of KoA,
Xaphan

June 28th, 2005 will be the day of reckoning!!! Our third diabolic opus, "The World, The Flesh & The Devil" will officially be unleashed upon this filthy planet. Nine songs of heretical profanation recorded and engineered by Shawn Ohtani, mastered by Erik Rutan at Mana Studios in Tampa Florida this slab of unadulterated contempt will prove to be our most blasphemous yet musically diverse out of the six years of our existence.

Tour dates for the "Hellstorm of Unholy Legions Tour" are starting to come in and are posted. These include NYC New York, Utica New York and Springfield Virginia. The remainder of dates are being finalized or confirmed so they will be posted as we receive them. Booking: Meat Market Promotions

The "Through War or Suicide" split 10-inch released through Abort the World Records can be found under the merchandise section. Pressing was delayed on the release due to several pressing plants refusal to print the covers because of what was deemed as offensive album artwork. The Kult ov Azazel portion includes a demo song from the new album, a Sodom cover and live track of "Garden of Shadows", all 3 tracks recorded with bands current lineup.

We have also submitted a song off the new release to Killzone Records for the compilation "Destroyers from the Western Skies". Full line up for this is Fog, Bahimiron, Kult ov Azazel, Hordes of the Lunar Eclipse, Inquisition, Krieg, Leviathan, Xasthur, Demoncy, Harvist, Engorge, Thralldom, Draugar, Summon and Teratism. This will be the best-compiled material covering the North American black metal scene to date. Visit www.killzone-records.com for more details.

Other releases scheduled for this year are the Kult ov Azazel/Vrolok split “Feast of Sacrilegious Impurity” enhanced CD and the “Oculus Infernum” gatefold LP.

The audio sample of the song "An Eternity with Satan" from the new album is still available for download here and recent interviews have been posted.

November 30, 2004 -
We stormed the US West Coast with vengeful fury full of sacrilegious hate which was in the end very gratifying. We'd like to thank all those that manifested at the California, Oregon and Washington rituals and worshipped with us, we salute you all for the support! We also would like to hail all the bands with us for helping out and their dedication to the tour. However, due to circumstances and reasons that will be left unknown, Kult ov Azazel will now go back to representing and doing things ourselves. From this moment on no one speaks or makes decisions regarding our horde except for us, this meaning that any ties to previous management have been severed. We'd also like to apologize to all the Canadian maniacs that had to miss the tour due to complications at the Canadian border. All bands were denied entrance and very disappointed about this. Next time around Kult ov Azazel will go about this differently and we will storm Canada with extreme hate and blasphemy!! Much respect and honor goes out to our bloodbrothers of the Sumeria kult for supplying us the backline and transportation, Scorched Earth for their help and camaraderie and to the Teratism horde who will always be our brothers in arms! Others that deserve praise and salutes are Scott Hecker and Arctic Music for the tour support, Christina of Meatmarket Productions for all her help the first few days of the tour, Norm and Blue Meanie Records, Chris of Hate/War Productions, Roberto and Julio of Infinitum Obscure, WyrmFuhrer of Balmung for the Demon Sword discs, Allison in San Fran for the hook up, Resuscitator, Karen for the place to crash in Portland, Morbosidad, Nos Vrolok, Mictlantecuhtli, Aaron of Metalbite Magazine, Herb and Kelly of Drawn and Quartered, Overlord of Crimson Moon/Nibiru for doing sound in San Marcos, the staff at Best Western Loyal Inn in Seattle, Mr. Mulligan, the many bands that we made contact with and those that fueled us with alcohol and other minding altering items.

The day we returned back to Fort Lauderdale, we entered the studio and begin re-recording the tracks for the splits with Vrolok and Horn of Valere. The split with Horn of Valere titled "Through War or Suicide" will feature a new song from the upcoming album titled "Blood, Death & Damnation" along with a cover of Sodom's "Blasphemer" and will be released on 10" vinyl through Abort The World Records. The split with Vrolok titled "Feast of Sacrilegious Impurity" will consist of the same 2 songs plus 3 bonus live video tracks from the September 16th, 2004 ritual and will be released through Arctic Music. Both are scheduled for a 2005 release.

Also in this update tour shirts from "The Swarm of Eternal Blackness Tour" have been added to the merchandise section. Only 72 prints were made and only a few remain. Some photos from the tour have been posted as well under the live section. Thanks to those that have supplied them!

September 19, 2004 -
We will be doing a split CD with Vrolok titled "Feast of Sacrilegious Impurity" that will be released through Arctic Music. Our portion will contain demo material from the forthcoming album "The World, The Flesh & The Devil", a Sodom cover and 3 live tracks taken from the September 16th, 2004 show recorded at the Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, FL. New logo shirts printed for the show are now available under the merchandise section. We'll be announcing the West Coast tour dates for the USA within the coming weeks. New interviews with Rivot Magazine and for for the publication Extreme Metal 2 have been posted along with a new review from Godless Magazine.

August 6, 2004 -
It has been confirmed and sealed in blood; we will open for Deicide on September 16th at the Culture Room. So after 2+ years of silence we will once again storm Ft. Lauderdale with unholy vengeance and blasphemous hatred!! Info has been posted under the live section. We'll be covering a good portion of material from '99 up to the last album, "Oculus Infernum", which the legions of South Florida have yet had a proper introduction to.

The ritual will begin before Deicide and will most likely be the last local performance for another long period of time. Come and worship!!!

June 6, 2004 -

June 1, 2004 -
We have decided to postpone recording the new album. Instead of the original plan of recording in August or September, we have decided to wait and record in January 2005 at Mana Studio (Hate Eternal, In Battle, Krisiun, Malevolent Creation) in Tampa, Florida. The reason behind this is simple, we want to write and include more material than we original were shooting to record. Originally, “The World, The Flesh & The Devil” was to consist of 9 songs but we intend to record a minimum of 13 new tracks, if not more. In addition, many of the new songs are getting reworked and rearranged.

The tracks for the 7” split with Krieg have been finished. Our portion will include a new track, “Blood, Death & Destruction”, along with a cover of Sodom’s “Blasphemer”. There are no plans on whom or when this will be released but regardless, the tracks are ready.

The layout and master recording for “Oculus Infernum” has been received by the French label Into the Pentagram (aka Aura Mystique) and the this recording will rear it’s ugly head again soon but this time on vinyl format. The gatefold LP will be limited to 500 units with double-sided lyric poster and the first 100 with a 2 song 7”. We were told it would be given top priority thus meaning the release should be out a lot sooner than later.

On Saturday, June 26th we will be co-headlining the Northern Lights Festival, this being the only confirmed performance that we have scheduled for the year. This event will take place at Club Rockit in Toronto, Canada. This will be our first desecration of Canada and hopefully not the last!! Tickets are available at the venue or purchased online through the NLF website www.unrestrainedmag.com/nlf

February 13, 2004 -
One of the weaker points in our campaign of blasphemy has been our distribution in the United States but this has all changed since Arctic Music has inked a US distribution deal with Candlelight Music for all US distribution which means all Arctic Music releases past & present will be distributed through Caroline Distribution. What this means is a number of things. One being that we have been notified that "Oculus Infernum" will go out of print for all US territories until it is reissued later in the fall of 2004 due to this new distribution contract. What stock is still available can be obtained through us or Arctic Music until stock runs out and most likely can be found through a few independent underground distributors both here in the States and abroad. Arctic Music will also reissue "Triumph of Fire" in April on CD for all those that had a bitch of a time finding it due to the plague of distribution problems that the album faced back in 2001. So what this all comes down to is with this new distribution our future and past two releases through Arctic Music will be almost near impossible not to find in the United States thus strengthening our grip on the home front.

With all that said, we have finished writing the new songs for our next release on Arctic Music which will be titled "The World, The Flesh & The Devil". We hope to enter the studio before the end of the year in order to get this released by the early months of 2005. Song titles for the next album are (in no particular order): "An Eternity with Satan", "Compelled to Die", "And the Earth is Filled With Violence", "Blood, Death & Damnation", "The Glorification of Evil" and 4 songs yet untitled. We have posted a rehearsal recording of the song "Compelled To Die" for preview (no vocals). We will release a demo version of one song from the upcoming album available on the website once the demo tracks are finished. Until then this rehearsal track will have to suffice. We have also completed tracking drums & guitars for the track that will appear on the 7" split with Krieg. We'll finish tracking bass and vocals in the next few weeks. More info about this will be posted in due time.

Other updates/news to report is that Kult ov Azazel will be featured in the May edition of Metal Maniacs which should be hitting the newsstands real soon. Tickets for the Northern Lights Festival which Kult ov Azazel will be co-headlining in Canada are now on sell. For more info on this check the NLF website at http://www.unrestrainedmag.com/nlf/. And lastly we now have a message forum created by Slasher over at www.smnnews.com. The forum can be accessed through the following URL: http://smnnews.com/board/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=51.

And last but not least after 2 years of being lost due to a postal fuckup we now have back in our possession a few copies of the “Triumph of Fire” vinyl still in mint condition. All LP’s are within the first 100 pressed so they are clear vinyl, hand numbered w/ sticker. We also have some damaged copies of the “Assaulting the Masses” LP’s which were damaged by US Customs which we are getting rid of. To make up for the cosmetic defects of the covers we have signed these copies and are offering them for a discounted price. These two offers will not be found in the merchandise section so those interested will have to contact us through the K6U6L6T@kultovazazel.com email for availability and/or prices.

November 14, 2003 -
Just a quick update to let all those interested in on some recent news. "The World, The Flesh & The Devil" is the working title for the next Kult ov Azazel album. Songs written at this point are "Compelled to Die", "And Earth is Filled With Violence", "The Glorification of Evil", "Christ Defied", "An Eternity with Satan" and 2 untitled songs, with yet more to be composed. This will be released again through Arctic Music who will re-release the "Triumph of Fire" CD in 2004 with bonus tracks. Although it's still many months away we have also confirmed the co-headlining slot for the 2004 Northern Lights Festival in Toronto, Canada. The lineup for this has been posted under the rituals section. The venue and ticket cost is still to be announced so check back for updates on this matter.

October 7, 2003 -
We have begun writing material for the follow up to this years “Oculus Infernum” with intentions to enter a studio in the beginning months of 2004. There's no working title as of yet but songs written so far are "And Earth is Filled With Violence", "The Glorification of Evil" and "An Eternity with Satan". We are planning a second attack with Krieg which will be realized in 7” form but there are no immediate plans for this. The split CD w/ Operation Winter Mist & Decieverion, along with the vinyl release of “Oculus Infernum”, will not see release through Regimental Records. The split is canceled indefinitely and instead we are seeking another label to work together with on releasing “Oculus Infernum” on gatefold LP. Labels interested in licensing/releasing this contact K6U6L6T@kultovazazel.com. Just released is "Grandaevus Dćmonum" on cassette through GoatowaRex, limited to 500 copies. Also available are the new “Oculus Infernum” t-shirt design and we have reprinted the “Christfuck” t-shirts. Lastly we are down to the last few copies of the “Order of the Fly” LP, “Assaulting the Masses” LP, “Triumph of Fire” LP and the Kult ov Azazel/Satan’s Blood split 7”.

September 10, 2003 -

First things first, as of now the LP release of "Oculus Infernum" has been canceled and we have dropped from the 3 way split with Operation Winter Mist and Decieverion, both to have been released through Regimental Records. Instead we'll seek another label to release "Oculus Infernum". Any labels that might have interest in licensing and releasing this hellish beast on gatefold LP contact us through K6U6L6T@kultovazazel.com.

We have begun writing for the next album through Arctic Music. So far there's no working title but the songs are coming together well. We aim to have enough material written and ready to go so we can get back into the studio in 2004. Also the song for the aforementioned split 7" with Krieg has been written and will be recorded within the next few weeks. As stated in the past, this song will be exclusive for this release only and will not be a studio effort. Instead we have decided to record the material for this ourselves as we have done on past recordings.

Lastly, there have been new interviews and reviews added.

August 14, 2003 -

First off we'd like to send our gratitude to those that came out to the show in Philadelphia, PA and gave support to this band. We'd also like to send a two horned salute to our partners of iniquity, Bloodstorm and Decieverion, as well as to Final Carnage and Eviscerator. Those that loaned us equipment have our salutes. Also like to thank Karen of Metal War and Trish of Forever Plagued for their help and support. And last yet not least, Jen and Eric for bringing us up and making it worth the while to bring our profanation and hellspeed blasphemy to the Philly area. Photos can be viewed here.

So at this point in time, we will start to focus on writing our next follow up to "Oculus Infernum" which will be released again through Arctic Music. We'll also during this process write the material for the split CD with Operation Winter Mist and Decieverion as well as material that will be on a future split 7" with Krieg. Both splits will be exclusive material for the releases only and will not be a studio effort as will be the next album. Instead we have decided to record the material for these splits ourselves, such as we did in the past with the "Order of the Fly" and our first wrath with Krieg. No advanced release information is available at this time on any of the recordings.

Due to a few delays, the release of "Oculus Infernum" on vinyl format has been postponed. Regimental Records who has obtained the license to release this limited gatefold LP has informed us due to uncontrollable circumstances they are unable to do so until late October. This is an unfortunate situation but such is life. No matter what it will be worth the wait that we can assure you. The Kult ov Azazel/Satan's Blood split 7" are in and we're down to the last 20 copies of the 75 we were given. We also have "Christfuck", a new t-shirt design, which at the moment is about sold out as well. Once these are gone we'll be printing a new design in support of the new album. If you miss out on the current design, have no fears because more will be printed. The only shirts that will remain out of print are all designs printed before 2003. As for other propaganda, we still have LP's of "Order of the Fly", "Triumph of Fire" and "Assaulting the Masses" in very small quantities. Just a reminder, once these are gone, they are gone and will become obsolete and will never see repress on vinyl format ever again. Information on all propaganda can be found here or available profanities can be found here.

August 1, 2003 -

Both the long awaited Kult ov Azazel/Satan's Blood split 7" and "Christfuck", the new t-shirt design, are now available. We are down to the very last copies of "Triumph of Fire", "Order of the Fly" and the Assaulting the Masses" LP's. There are about 10 copies each left and once they are gone, that's it, these 3 vinyl's will be out of print. Track and album info on the above blasphemies can be found through the invocations section under vinyl. The new shirt design was done by Iron Fist Propaganda and are nothing short of excellent in quality. The design can be viewed through the invocations section under shirts. These will be $16 North America and $18 for the remainder of the world and price includes shipping, more details here. "Oculus Infernum" has been receiving killer reviews and some recent ones have been posted. Other than that we are preparing for our invasion on Philadelphia on Saturday, August 9th at Club HP. This will be a night of desecration and profanation with Blood Storm, Decieverion, & Eviscerator. Details can be found under the rituals section and we will have merch with us.

July 14, 2003 -

The new album has been out for about 3 weeks and has been getting great response. To read the reviews click here. A lot of distributors are carrying this release and with the new distribution deal through Arctic "Oculus Infernum" should be easier to find than the "Triumph of Fire" album. It can also be obtained through us with details under the spells section. On the subject of "Triumph of Fire", we are down to the last few copies of the vinyl version and once these are gone that's it since there will be no represses in the future. We are also releasing a few old things to cassette in the near future. First up is the cassette release titled "Grandaveous Demonum" through GoatowaRex from Australia and will consist of the Kult ov Azazel portion of the "Kult ov Azazel/Krieg" split with a Mayhem cover plus two live tracks. We'll also be licensing the "Order of the Fly" material to Raungmetal Productions for exclusive Indonesian distribution. This will include the "Entering Erebus" demo as bonus tracks. Both of these cassette pressings will be pro printed and we'll have very few copies of each available through the website when the time comes. Cover designs and release information can be found here. We are also printing up new shirts through Iron Fist Propaganda and these should be available in early August. The design can be viewed through the invocations section under shirts. These will be $16 North America and $18 for the remainder of the world and the price includes shipping. We should also have the Kult ov Azazel/Satan's Blood split 7" EP within the next week, more information when they are received. Also coming up is the only live date that we will be playing this year. This will be happening August 9th in Philadelphia, PA. with Blood Storm, Algol and Decieverion. Details can be found under the rituals section.

June 24, 2003 -

The day of reckoning is here. The gates of hell have swung wide open and "Oculus Infernum" is released upon the world. "Oculus Infernum" can be ordered directly through us or it can be obtained through Arctic Music or any retail music outlet in the United States and Canada. This release will be distributed by Twilight Music for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Russia and Japan territories, United Musics in France, Cosmic Storm in Greece and Plastichead for the rest of Europe. Many new reviews for "Oculus Infernum" have been posted along with recent interviews. Also added is the date for the one and only show we will play this year. This ritual will take place on August 9th in Philadelphia, PA and details can be found here. Also still available are the "Order of the Fly", "Assaulting the Masses" and "Triumph of Fire" LP's. The split 7" w/ Satan's Blood is being pressed and should be in shortly. More info on this to come.

May 19, 2003 -

The time has come, and although it's not official released here in the States, the new album "Oculus Infernum" is obtainable through us. The official street date release for the US is June 24th and it's expected to hit Europe by the end of this month. New reviews have been posted with more to come. Click here for release information or here for order info. Regimental Records will be releasing this in a limited gatefold edition with a bonus 7" about six weeks after the street date. More information will come about this. Also available now is the official live vinyl "Assaulting the Masses" released through Autopsy Stench Records and limited to 666 copies, 100 on white marble. This will be the last update until mid June. Xaphan will be handling bass duties on the Hateplow European tour. The first date will be at the Fuck The Commerce Festival in Germany on May 28th.

April 25, 2003 -

"Oculus Infernum" will be available June 24, 2003. An advanced track from this album can be found here. We should have promos for this within the next few weeks. Zines that wish to obtain a copy for review can send name of publication and address to K6U6L6T@kultovazazel.com. Please include proof of zine in email. It has been decided that the gatefold LP version of "Oculus Infernum", being released by Regimental Records, will come with a bonus 7". We are working on getting a set release date for this and will post more at a later date. There have also been some recent interviews posted.

April 10, 2003 -

At this point in time, "Assaulting the Masses" Live LP can only be obtained through Autopsy Stench Records. Seems as if our package of these were lost in the postal system. There's been no word on if we will eventually get copies of this release or not. Anyone that has sent payment in for this will have their money refunded and sent back. We are extremely pissed about this situation, as many can understand! As far as other updates go, the 7" split with Satan's Blood is scheduled for a May release and "Oculus Infernum" will will be out in June.

March 29, 2003 -

Hail! It's been quite sometime since this site has been updated and that's for good reason. We have spent the weeks in March mixing and mastering the new album "Oculus Infernum". This beast has finally seen completion and will be released within the next few months on Arctic Music. Regimental Records will be releasing a limited edition pressing of it on vinyl. This will be limited to 500 only and will be a gatefold release. More will be posted on our site as more details are ironed out. We'll also be participating on a 3 way split CD with Operation Winter Mist and Decieverion to be released through Regimental Records this year as well. And finally "Order of the Fly" and the live "Assaulting the Masses" LP's have been unleashed! We now have our copies of "Order of the Fly" and expect to have our copies of "Assaulting the Masses" any day now. Emails have been sent out to those that have copies reserved. Both of these LP releases will be obtainable through us while copies are available or through Autopsy Stench Records. And lastly, we have sent the tracks in for split 7" with Satan's Blood. This will include 1 new Kult ov Azazel track and a cover of Hellhammer's "The Third of the Storms". This will be released by Autopsy Stench Records out of Germany and more info on this will be posted on the site as soon as we know a release date.

January 22, 2003 -

Due to complications and slight delays the release date for "Oculus Infernum" has been pushed back. Instead of rushing to put this out we have decided to postpone the release until the spring time. On the other hand, we have been told that the "Order of the Fly" and "Assaulting the Masses" LP's went to press last week. We predict to have our copies by March in which time those that have pre-ordered copies will have theirs sent out and those that have reserved copies will be notified via email. As for newest additions to the site, some recent interviews have been added. On that note this will be the last update until March.

November 22, 2002 -

Since our last update we have been continuously in the studio recording the new album. "Oculus Infernum" is planned for a late Jan./early Feb. release date through Arctic Music. Tracklisting for this album is as follows:

1. "Rex Infernum in Excelsis"
2. "Revelations Reflected From a Dead Jehovah's Eyes"
3. "The Oracle of Annihilation: Eradicating Sanctimonious Existence"
4. "Anguish Brought To Heaven"
5. "Invoking the Infernal Majesty"
6. "Oculus Infernum"
7. "Mark of the Devil"
8. "Perpetual Demise of the Bastard Son"

Other site news is a new group photo can be found under the infernal names section and new interviews under the texts section. The release of the LP's "Order of the Fly" and "Assaulting the Masses" are in the works and Autopsy Stench Records has informed us that we'll have a release date soon for these. The split 7" is back on now with Satan's Blood (Germany) taking the place of Graven. No certain time frame for this yet, but rest assured the split 7" will be happening. Also in the planning is a split CD with the Canadian warmachine Operation Winter Mist for sometime in 2003.

October 13, 2002 -

In the next few weeks we begin the recording of "Oculus Infernum" and confirmed song titles are "Perpetual Demise of the Bastard Son", "Revelations through a Dead Jehovah's Eyes", "Invoking the Infernal Majesty", "The Oracle of Annihilation: Eradicating Sanctimonious Existence", "Rex Infernus in Excelsis", "Oculus Infernum" with another 2 still untitled tracks. As of last week everything was sent out for the "Assaulting the Masses" Live LP and "Order of the Fly" LP. I Butcher at Rebarbative Recordings is working on the remastering of both recordings and the cover/layout art was sent to Autopsy Stench Records. Due to certain circumstances involving Graven the split has been postponed until further notice. There may still be plans to release the two new songs as part of another release but at this time nothing is confirmed.

September 19, 2002 -

In the past weeks we have been finishing up the writing for "Oculus Infernum" and will enter the studio to begin recording on October 28th. The new album will consist of 8 songs and will most likely see a 2003 release through Arctic Music. We decided to add a demo track titled "Invoking the Infernal Majesty" and a room recording of "Perpetual Demise of the Bastard Son" for preview. In other related news, Autopsy Stench Records (GER) will now be releasing the "Order of the Fly" 12" LP. This will be limited to 666 copies now with 100 printed on splattered vinyl. The same label will also be releasing the live 12" LP "Assaulting the Masses". We have been told that these will be released sometime November/December 2002.

August 2, 2002 -

Latest news is that Goss "The Hammer" will be back in Florida the end of this month in which we will then finish up the writing process for "Oculus Infernum". At this point in time we plan to record it sometime in October. Also in the works and to be released is a split 7" with the German Black Metal horde Graven and a live Kult ov Azazel limited 12" vinyl that will be released through Autopsy Stench Records (Germany), a sublabel of Merciless Records. We are currently working on the 2 tracks for the split which will be new songs and are waiting for more details on the live release. We have also submitted a new song "Invoking the Infernal Majesty" to Black Arts Production (Finland) to be used on an upcoming compilation titled "Jesus Wept". As for the Bathory Tribute, no word on what is going on with it but any information received will be posted once more is known.

July 13, 2002 -

The hellsite has taken on a new look/design. The vinyl release of "Triumph of Fire" is going fast and so far has been picked up for distribution through Jersey Devil Distribution, Christcrusher Records, Regimental Records, Of Pure Blood Distribution, Arctic Music, Relapse Mail order, Dark Horizon Records and soon through Merciless Records. We are still seeking other labels/distros that would like to distribute this release so if interested contact us at K6U6L6T@kultovazazel.com. We will also be participating on a Bathory tribute in which we will be covering the ripper "Holocaust" off of "Blood, Fire, Death". As far as news goes on the "Order of the Fly" vinyl, we have been told that it should be available within two weeks. Crooked Crosses Records has informed us that the pressing plant had fucked things up and have said that the vinyl's will be delivered in 5-10 business days. If this is true we shall see since the morons printing said release do not seem to know their head from their ass. More will be posted as it unfolds.

June 28, 2002 -

"Triumph of Fire" has now been released on 12" vinyl. There are only 300 printed, hand numbered and the first 100 come on clear vinyl. All LP's come with lyric sheet and protective plastic sleeve and the first 100 with sticker. This release is only obtainable at this time through us (see propaganda section), some copies available through Arctic Music so we are interested and looking for distributors to pick up copies. The "Order of the Fly" vinyl we were recently told that problems had been encountered with the artwork so until this can be fixed it will be delayed a little longer than expected. We have also added another guitarist to the Kult ov Azazel lineup. Nocturath, who has long been a supporter and contributor in one form or another to this band will appear on the next studio release "Oculus Infernum". We have also completed the recording of Beherit's "Black Arts" for the Beherit tribute being released by the warriors at Aural Decimation. Others to appear on this are Black Earth, Destroyer 666, Disgorge(Mex), Ouroboros, Raventhrone, The Obliterate Plague, Thornspawn, and Wrath Ritual. If at some point in time there seems to be a demand to hear this song we will post it for download on the site. Lineup for the Beherit cover is as follows: Xaphan [guitar/vocals], Xul [bass] and Goss "The Hammer" [drums]. More info on this as we are updated. If you are a distributor and interested in the "Triumph of Fire" vinyl we can be reached via email under the contact section

May 29, 2002 -

So far we have half of the next album "Oculus Infernum" written and have added a rehearsal mp3 to the site. The mp3 is a room recording using one mic to so don't expect too great of a sound, we are only putting this up to give the hordes a chance to preview our newer material. Plans to release "Black Mass Consecration" has been postponed until next year. Also we now have logo stickers available under the propaganda section.

May 10, 2002 -

Everything seems to be on track with the vinyl releases of "Triumph of Fire" and "Order of the Fly". Both should be released around the same time. Everyone that has pre-ordered or reserved a copy will be notified once they are in our possession. In the meantime we will begin writing for the next full length to be titled "Oculus Infernum". The writing process will be done over the next month and will be recorded with Goss on drums and will mark the first time in 2 years that we will be writing/recording as a full functioning band. The plans to record the songs for and release the live material for "Black Mass Consecration" is sort of up in the air right now, yet this will still be released. If all works out the way planned we will record the songs for this during the summer. There are a few other things in the works such as a Beherit tribute and a few compilations we will participate on but the details on these will come in time.

April 24, 2002 -
The master recording was dropped off last week to the vinyl plant for "Triumph of Fire" and the finished product will be back in about 3 weeks. The first 100 will be pressed on clear vinyl and we are now accepting pre-orders and or reservations. Reservations will only be held for a total of 3 weeks before it will become available to someone else. As for the "Order of the Fly" vinyl, I was told today that there was a problem with the test pressing and it has to be redone. Another change will be that it will now be pressed on red vinyl as opposed to red marble vinyl (this being the first 100). We will have a total of 40 copies, 20 red vinyl, 40 black vinyl and are accepting pre-orders and or reservations on this vinyl release as well. Direct emails regarding this to K6U6L6T@kultovazazel.com. We also have very few Black Mass Consecration shirts left after opening for The Crown last night. Pictures from this gig have been added under the visual section. Also in the works is the Blood Fire Death Records 2nd pressing of "Order of the Fly" which will be limited to only another 50 with new artwork created by myself (see layout/design here) and will include 3 live bonus tracks. It's unclear when this may happen but more will be posted as more is learned.

April 1, 2002 -
The new cover for the vinyl release of Triumph of Fire has been posted under the blasphemies section. The new design and layout was done by Infernal of Infernal Hatred/Atopbihsf. This assault should be out soon, once we have a solid date more will be posted.

March 19, 2002 -
Let it be known that "Triumph of Fire" will also be printed in vinyl format. Arctic Music will be pressing a 300 copy run only, with a yet undetermined amount on colored vinyl, the color also undetermined at this time. So at this point, all we can say is it will be happening and within the next few weeks at that. Any distributors/labels interested in picking copies of this up contact us through email. This release will only be available through us or Arctic Music (www.arcticmusicgroup.com). More updates to be posted here within the next few days.

March 5, 2002 -
The cover and tracks for the vinyl release of "Order of the Fly" was mailed off to the label today. I have been told by Crooked Crosses that they expect to have the finished product back in their hands by the end of April (approx. 7 weeks). This will be limited to 300 hand numbered copies, first 100 on red marble vinyl and will include 2 bonus live tracks consisting of Symbionic 666 and a cover of Mayhem's "Chainsaw Gutsfuck". Many hails to Sedit and his label for seizing the opportunity to do this and for those that have bothered us over the years to reprint this old recording in vinyl format!!

February 28, 2002 -
Once again the look and layout of the website has changed. As for band news, we have begun writing newer material with some songs that will appear on the “Black Mass Consecration” CD being released through Arctic Music. This CD will be a conglomeration of 40 minutes of live assault (taken from two live shows in support of “Triumph of Fire”), 3 new studio tracks and a cover of Beherit's “The Gate of Nanna”. Due to the fact that Goss' schedule does not conform to our current situation the drumming on the new tracks will be done once again by Gus Rios/vetis who also sessioned for the "Triumph of Fire" recordings. Cover art will be invoked by Josh Bowens and this assault should be unleashed by the end of spring. We then hope to begin recording of the next full length during the summer with Goss. The current working title being "The World, The Flesh And The Devil" although this will most likely change as time evolves. It is confirmed that Crooked Crosses Records will be re-releasing “Order of the Fly” on 12” vinyl this spring as well. It will include new artwork (but remain very much true to the original). Also Ogham Records from Portugal will be releasing a MC titled “Invoking the Satanic Majesty”. This kult tape release consists of the Kult ov Azazel portion of the split CD originally done with Krieg plus live versions of “Altar of Satan” and “Crown of Fire”. There are also talks with Black Art Productions on releasing a live tape that will cover the entire spectrum of our existence with live songs from each album. And for our final declaration... fuck religion, fuck humanity and fuck you!!!

January 24, 2002 -
As you may have seen, the design has taken on a new look and the logo has changed a bit. This was done by Serpent who took the original logo drawn by Christophe and cleaned it up and added some new features to it. Kult ov Azazel would like to thank Serpent for his contribution and hail him for the work he has done! If you have not seen it then go here. We will most likely be working with Serpent in the near future so this will be a reoccurring name you will see most definitely!! Also as stated on the opening page, we are printing up long sleeve T-shirts with in the next few weeks. The design has already been posted under the offerings section. No pre-orders are being taken and these shirts will only be sold on a first come first serve basis. There will be at least two dozen printed and more info will be posted once they are ready. As for the actual band, we'll begin writing new material this week and 3 of those songs will be released on the live CD "Black Mass Consecration." There is a chance this will also feature a cover of Beherit's "The Gate of Nanna" as well. No word on the re-release of "Order of the Fly" on 12" vinyl but I am actively looking into it. But most of all never fucking forget that Kult ov Azazel is ANTI-YOU!!!

December 3, 2001 -
We wish to extend 666 bestial fucking hails to Blackthorn of the mighty legion Thornspawn for having us deliver our musical blasphemy to this years Sacrifice of the Nazarene Child Festival. We also hail the mighty hordes that we had the honor to share the stage with. This was indeed a gathering of the most unholy legions and we salute all the demons and satanic freaks that we had contact with!! I may or may not post photos from this blasphemous gathering but that's something I have yet to decide. We also send out our much appreciated thanks to Tom and Eloisa Stevens for supplying us with transportation!!! But now that we are back we will begin focusing on getting the release of "Black Mass Consecration" out. I will also be finding out more about the release of "Order of the Fly" on vinyl being released by Crooked Cross Records. More info on these 2 assaults or other informed agendas on the Kult will posted as I feel necessary.

November 24, 2001 -
The new tshirt design has gone to press. This design will be printed and limited to only 24. Once they are gone no more will ever be printed. They will be available to the legions that shall be attending the Sacrifice of the Nazarene Child Fest. If any are left over they will be available through us only as first come first serve. The design can be seen here.

November 20, 2001 -
We are gearing up for our assault upon San Antonio, TX which will come in a little less than 2 weeks. The live CD will be titled "Black Mass Consecration". We will be going into Studio 13 again this December to record 4 new tracks that will also appear on this release and should see a February/March release. It is uncertain at this point but "Black Mass Consecration" might also include a few video/audio tracks, we will see what happens. Also on the agenda is the re-release of "Order of the Fly" in vinyl LP format. This will be released by Crooked Cross Records limited to 300 hand numbered copies, first 100 on red vinyl. It will include 2 bonus tracks of which will be Symbionic666 live and a live version of Mayhem's "Chainsaw Gutsfuck." The re-release of "Order of the Fly" will surface sometime in February. As a side note if anyone is interested in licensing or releasing any of our recordings in VINYL FORMAT ONLY get in contact with us. Our next show after Sacrifice of the Nazarene Child Festival will be opening for Marduk in Ft. Lauderdale, FL at the Culture Room on January 27, 2002.

October 13, 2001 -
The website has a new look. Right now we are just focusing on writing new material that will end up becoming our 2nd full length and 4 songs which will be released as a mini/live cd. As far as touring this fall goes don't expect it. The last plans fell through but there are talks between us and a European promoter about a possible European tour this January. More will be posted as we know. At this point in time our only scheduled show is the Sacrifice of the Nazarene Child fest. This will be taking place in Texas on Saturday December 1. Check the rituals section for further info.

August 15, 2001 -
Hails to all the freaks and our friends that we ran into during this past weekend at the Milwaukee Metalfest. Also thanks to Rich and the Lost Disciple crew and Tom at Relapse for selling our merch for us. And last but not least Drachnor for running us all around NYC - dude you fucking rule! Now we will prepare for once again an onslaught upon the minions of Ft. Lauderdale. This show will be recorded as was the NY show for a future limited digi live release. There are future plans to tour this fall but the details are still pending. Once more is known it will be posted so just keep checking back.

July 21, 2001 -
The quest for a permanent drummer has now come to an end. As of today we welcome John "The Hammer" Goss into the band. We'll also be playing at CBGB'S in August with Destroyer 666, Cadaver Inc. and Goreaphobia. Due to Goss's work schedule we'll have Gus Rios doing the NYC show with us. As for all you fucking fags signing the guestbook... all I have to say is keep the hate mail coming. We are proud that you fuckers hate us. End your homosexual lives now!

June 20, 2001 -
The Kult ov Azazel / Krieg split shirts are now here. They came out fucking killer just as I knew they would so check out the merch page to see the design. As for band news, we'll begin rehearsing with a new drummer the second week of July and during this time plan to work on the new songs for our next recording.

May 17, 2001 -
"Triumph of Fire" will be released in Europe on May 28th and since the release in America the CD has been receiving great reviews as well as quite a bit of airplay. We have begun to work on new songs for what I hope to be an EP that will be released by the fall and a full length that will definitely be released summer of 2002. We will begin practicing with a new drummer in June and if all goes well we will be doing US dates. Also in the works is Kult ov Azazel/Krieg split T-shirts, these should be ready by the beginning of June. The shirt design will be posted to the merchandise page shortly.

April 3, 2001 -
It has been confirmed that we will be playing the Blood Fire Death Fest. The Fest will take place in Ft. Lauderdale Florida on Saturday, October 6 at Orbit Nightclub. We are also confirmed to play the Sacrifice of the Nazarene Child Fest in Texas in December. More information on both Fest will be posted at a later date.

March 8, 2001 -
Well it seems as though our new CD will be distributed in England. The only draw back to this is the CDs will not include the lyrics. I will be posting the lyrics to the site by the release date. We still haven't found a drummer but have been talking to a few people that are interested so we'll see how things go (Goss, this means you!). So far no tour dates are planned but we are working on it. March 27th will be our last South Florida show. We'll be playing at the Culture Room with Incantation, Immolation and Goatwhore and Hibernus Mortis. If you live in the South Florida area this will be your last time to see us in a live situation for a very long time. We'll have "Triumph of Fire" and Kult ov Azazel/Krieg CDs for sell as well at the show. Being as how somehow we always get screwed, we will be playing at 7:30 PM so come out and show your hatred and contempt for mankind!

March 2, 2001 -
I have just returned from a European tour as bass player for Hate Plow and would first like to send hails to all the metal maniacs and freaks I met on my journeys through Europe. The Kult ov Azazel/Krieg split CD is finally available and can be purchased for $12 postage paid. Distributors get in contact for wholesale prices or possible trades. We will not be doing the tour with Malevolent Creation and Monstrosity as planned due to not having a drummer. The full length CD "Triumph of Fire" is still being released on March 27th and I have been told that due to our lyrical content the CD has been banned in England. We were also trying to plan a US tour for the summer time and have been told by a few booking agencies that they will not work with us because of our musical style and beliefs. FUCK THESE CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIZING BASTARDS!! We will put together our own tour if need be. More information on this will be posted shortly. And last but not least I'd like to clear some shit up. Upon my return home I found out that Pavement Music was saying on their website that we were influenced by Cradle of Filth. First off, we do not use keyboards or female vocals to try and create an "atmosphere" and in NO WAY are we influenced by any band that is only into the music for the money aspect. Secondly, in NO WAY will we ever compromise our musical style in order to make money. If you like our music great, if you don't we don't care, fuck off and die! So anyone that happened to see that or read it in any newsletter don't worry because the "Triumph of Fire" CD is still in the vein of our older material and just as crushing!!!

January 1, 2001 -
HAIL:

Just a quick note to keep everyone up to date on the next scheduled GENOCIDE MUSIC release the KULT OV AZAZEL/KRIEG split CD (Gen 004). many have asked about this much delayed release, so here's the straight poop.

1. first AZAZEL encountered legal problems with their name and had to change it to KULT OV AZAZEL some months ago, not too big of a deal but created a problem for the band with the original cover.
2. the planned pressing plant IMPLOSION PUBLISHING disappears off the face of the earth (along with a sizeable sum of my money) and does not deliver the covers for the MASKIM "CONQUEST" CD (GEN 003) A large amount of time is spent trying to get a reliable pressing plant that I can count on, one is eventually found and the MASKIM CD is pressed as the first project with the new pressing plant.
3. The totally redone cover graphics are delivered during October 2000
4. The MASKIM CD is back from the plant and looks and sounds great (this was the very beginning of November 2000) so the materials for the SPLIT CD are sent in, which I thought would be wise to hold on to so I could avoid the chance of having 2 projects completely fucked up at the same time.
5.anyone who has an indy label knows that you never press in the 4th quarter of a year if at all possible but in this case we had no choice , and you can see why now (only large labels get any kind of service this time of year).
6. Master disc did not pass Glass master so a new one had to be made and sent to the plant again.

And that is where we are now, disc will be back sometime during the month of January it took about 6 weeks total to get the Maskim thing back so at that rate it may be about mid January, but believe me, the label and both bands involved will be more than happy to sell them to you when they are here.

Thanks for your patience ( special thanks to both KRIEG and KULT OV AZAZEL)

December 26, 2000 -
Triumph of Fire will be unleashed on March 27th, 2001. Be sure to check out the new mp3 titled My Misanthropy. The website is being heavily reconstructed so bear with us.

August 22, 2000 -
The new logo is up and many hails to Christophe Szpajdel for the grim work! Kult ov Azazel will be entering the studio November 13 to begin recording of our first full length album being released on Arctic Music. The reissue of "Order of the Fly" on Blood Fire Death Records is now available for $10 (postage paid) through us. Being that this a limited release (only 50 copies) we are unable to hold copies for a long period of time. Check out the reviews on "Order of the Fly". We have also received copies of the Infinite Darkness Records release "American Black Metal Assault" compilation. This CD also has the track "Symbionic 666" that will appear on the Kult ov Azazel / Krieg split as well as tracks by Summon, Blood Storm, Maskim, Thornspawn, Noctuary, Demoncy, Judas Iscariot, Weltmacht, Krieg, Exile, Vukodlak, Fog, Bloodstained Dusk, Grand Belial's Key, and Crucifier. We do have copies (only a few) for $13 (postage paid) or you can get them from Infinite Darkness Records for $15.

August 4, 2000 -
The re-issue of our first mCD is being pressed now and will be available in 2 weeks on the label Blood Fire Death. After speaking with Lord Imperial (Krieg/Blood Fire Death) today it seems all the stock of the mCD they will have has all been pre-sold. Kult ov Azazel still have about 6 left so reserve a copy before they are gone once again. The Kult of Azazel/Krieg split seems to be moving along once again so both bands are looking towards late September/early October release. The comp titled American Black Metal Assault on Infinite Darkness Records (Netherlands) has been released and features the track "Symbionic 666" on it from the forthcoming split CD. We will have 13 copies of this available and more about it will be posted here once we have them.

July 11, 2000 -
KULT OV AZAZEL will be heading into the studio in October to record their first full-length album. We will be taking a break from doing live shows after the MAYHEM show on July 13th. We will concentrate on writing the new material and will post samples to the site once they are available. The recording will take place at Studio 13 and will slaughter the masses in January 2001. More information will be posted as it unfolds.

June 29, 2000 -
The official KULT OV AZAZEL site has been born out of blasphemy and hate! Make sure to update any bookmarks to the new URL http://www.kultovazazel.com. We are going to leave all old AZAZEL reviews and interviews, as well as sound samples on the site since we feel they are important to the existence of the Kult Ov Azazel. The Azazel mCD "Order of the Fly" is still being re-issued by Blood Fire Death records before the Milwaukee Metal Fest. The split CD from KULT OV AZAZEL/KRIEG is still waiting for the layout but both bands can promise that this CD will be well worth the wait.

June 15, 2000 -
Azazel has been picked up by Arctic Music to release the next full length album and will be going into the studio during the fall to record . The full length will be released in the beginning of 2001 and will have world wide distribution through Pavement Records. The re-issue of "Order of the Fly" should be out soon on Blood Fire Death records with a bonus live track included. The re-issue is limited to 50 copies and we will have 15 of those. This may be the last chance anyone will have to get this CD so pre-orders are being be taken. First come first serve, after 13 orders the mCD will be out of print again. As for the AZAZEL/KRIEG split CD we are just waiting for the layout to be done and then it should be released soon after, look or a late July / early August release date. We will be changing the name to KULT OV AZAZEL for the split and from then on. We are still looking for a full time drummer so any interested parties please contact us by email.

May 2, 2000 -
Azazel has departed ways with current drummer Hellspawn due to musical and personal differences. We are once again in search of a drummer as we begin to write material for a full length release. We will be opening for MAYHEM this coming July (at the CULTURE ROOM) with a session drummer if one is not found by then. The release date for the AZAZEL/KRIEG split CD will be posted once more information is available.

April 2, 2000 -
The recording for the Azazel/KRIEG split is complete and we are pleased to announce that it will be released by Genocide Music. We just returned from the Immortal/Satyricon show in Maryland were we passed out 75 "Of Evil and Hatred" promos which contained an advanced demo version of "Destruction to the Throne of God" and the version of "Chainsaw Gutsfuck" off the Mayhem Tribute on Warhammer Records. We would like to thank all those that we met up there and hope to see you all again in the near future! At this point we will be focusing on opening for Angel Corpse and Krisiun on April 30th and will begin to write new material for a full length that will be released on Blood Fire Death Records.

March 2, 2000 -
We are just about done recording for the AZAZEL/KRIEG split. We go back into the studio over the weekend to finish up and mix down. The mCD is now sold out and out of print. Look for the re-release on Blood Fire Death to be out soon.

February 5, 2000 -
As far as news goes with Azazel, we will begin recording for the Krieg split within the next week. The new songs are finished and now it's a matter of getting them to dat. Look for samples to be added to the Sounds page very shortly. We have been very busy playing shows and trying to recreate the scene in South Florida which both have been going well. The "Order of the Fly" mCD is now down to 20 copies left and once they are gone they will be out of print. More interviews and reviews will be added within the next few weeks. We are also glad to announce the addition of Azazel to the Sickening comp. as well as to the Unholy Blood comp. being put out by Mormo. Songs to be heard on these are Crown of Fire, Undeserving Fate and Forever Heaven Gone. Updates this time around included new show dates plus a review.

January 7, 2000 -
Holy hell! I haven't realized how long it's been since I have posted anything to this page. Let's see what all is new (or has been changed or updated) since my last posting. The site has been updated with newer pictures. The sounds page has changed and you can now hear a sample of "Chainsaw Gutsfuck", interviews have been added. All of these you can find under the new Media link on the site. I just recently updated the shows page with new dates. There have been many new links added on the links site. We will be featured on the Lost Disciple Records comp "Visionaries of the Macabre Vol. 2 - An Evil Elite" along with 14 other USBM bands which should be out soon. We are still awaiting the release of the Mayhem Tribute. Our new drummer, Hellspawn, is working out well and we will begin recording 3 new tracks for the Krieg/Azazel split within the next few weeks ( I will be posting demo versions on the sounds page shortly).

November 22, 1999 -
Azazel is once again on the unending quest for a new drummer. Anyone who is a dedicated and reliable drummer may contact us for more information.
