Now that the contest is over we’d like to thank all the fans that sent in track listing submissions. It was difficult sifting through all the great
submissions and picking just one. So with that said, we’d like to congratulate Sean Grzankowski as the winner of the two signed copies of Desecrations:
A Decade Of Defiling The Cross. It will consist of 22 songs, 4 songs from each studio release with 6 cover songs as bonus tracks. This “best of” CD will
be released August 2010 through Arctic Music.

We have ton of stuff happening to update you all on this time around…
On the live front the Nihilistic Terror Across Florida dates will take place on May 21 and 23. It’s been four years since we last played the Culture Room, a venue
we’ve always considered home. So with that being said we are pleased to say that the first show will take place there in our hometown of Fort Lauderdale,
FL on Friday, May 21. We will be filming the set in its entirety and will include it on the DVD being released later in the year through Arctic Music. On
Sunday, May 23 we will storm the Brass Mug in Tampa, FL. The last time we were in Tampa was on the Hellstorm Of Unholy Legions 2005 tour so we are
looking forward to playing the Brass Mug again this time with songs from the new album in our arsenal. The only other booked appearance for the year will
be at the Michigan Deathfest. The date has been moved from Saturday, July 17 to Saturday, August 21. On this date we will headline the main stage on day
two of this event.
On the release front this year we have many things being released. First up is a “best of” CD titled Desecrations: A Decade of Defiling the Cross.
In the next few days we will announce and notify the winner of the contest we ran who will receive 2 signed copies of the release. After that we will be releasing the still
untitled live DVD that will span the years 1999-2010. This will include two full concerts along with other shot footage from over the years. We are also working on
re-releasing the very obscure mCD Order of The Fly. Since there has been a lot of inquiries as where to find this the time has come to re-issue the recording.
The original was released to only 250 in 1999 and has been out of print since 2000. The re-issue will have bonus tracks these being the Of
Evil and Hatred session aka our portion of the Kult ov Azazel/Krieg split along with some unreleased recordings. Negativity Records will be releasing
the split 7” with Teratism titled In League With Satan, a tribute to Venom, which will be out at some point during the year. Finally, we will begin pre-production for the new album in July which will be named Violators of the Covenant.
There’s also some new merchandise available. A new exclusive t-shirt design obtainable only through Relapse Records is available in all sizes at
www.relapse.com . We also now have
embroidered logo patches for sale that can be seen under the merchandise section. They are also available through Metal Negro at
www.metalnegro.com.
April 5, 2010 -
In August we will be releasing a “best of” compilation titled Desecrations: A Decade of Defiling the Cross through Arctic Music. Instead of picking the
songs ourselves for this release we are running a contest that will allow you guys, the fans, to choose what songs will be included on the CD by submitting
a 15 song track listing to us. After all submissions have been received we will choose and award that fan 2 signed copies of the CD.
If you wish to be a part of this send a 15 song track listing with the subject line “Desecration Tracks” to k6u6l6t@kultovazazel.com. Submissions begin April 5th and will run
until May 5th. We will announce the winner by May 10, 2010.

It’s our misfortune to announce that after 10 years with Kult ov Azazel Xul has taken an indefinite hiatus from the band and therefore will not be doing
any touring or recording during 2010. We respect his decision but we must continue to forge on. From this point forward all vocal duties will be taken
over by Xaphan and session guitarist Armanen (Tenebrous) has been added as a permanent member of the band. Former/session member VJS is back as touring
bassist. However, due to prior commitments VJS will not be able to do the March Metal Massacre V Fest in Allentown, PA on March 27th so Gio Geraca
(Evil Amidst, Malevolent Creation) will be handling bass duties.
Touring begins with the Nihilistic Terror Across Texas campaign in March. We’ll be storming the West Texas Death Fest II in Amarillo, TX on Friday March
12th. The other two days will be spent with Teratism, Witchaven and Hatchet destroying San Antonio, TX on the 13th and Houston, TX on the 14th with 2
deadly nights of devastating black/thrash metal. In July we will headline the main stage of the 20th anniversary of the Michigan Deathfest on the 17th then embark on a 16 day tour
with Wolven Ancestry. More 2010 dates are forthcoming and will be posted as confirmed.
Preparation for the yet untitled DVD release is underway. We have combined the sound board audio with a 3 camera mix of our show as direct support for
Deicide filmed September 2004. We should have video from the Puerto Rico show very soon. Once in our hands we’ll begin editing the video footage while
we wait for the sound board recordings to arrive. The DVD will be released later in the year through Arctic Music and will also include a CD of covers
and unreleased material ranging from 1999 to the present.
We are also pleased to announce we have joined forces with Frank Watkins (Gorgoroth, Back From The Dead Productions) as direct management for the band and
that the Venom cover is mixed and has been sent to Noise Farm Studio in Texas for mastering. Once mastered it is just a matter of the label setting a
release date. “In League With Satan” will be a tribute to Venom limited to 666 copies. This is a split effort with Teratism to be released through
Negativity Records.

The mixing process for the Venom cover of In League With Satan is in its final death throe. It will be released on 7" clear red vinyl as a split w/ Teratism through Negativity Records. This was recorded in Los Angeles, CA on October 30, 2009 with backing vocals supplied by Psykho (Ritual Combat/ex-Nokturne) and engineered and mixed by Dross (Sothis) at his studio, Black Static Studio. Vocals were re-recorded in Ft. Lauderdale at Gorgol Productions and engineered by Nina Sallie on November 23, 2009. More about this release will be forthcoming.
Check the merchandise section for the T-Shirt + CD offer.

The Puerto Rico show was insane!! It was an honor to make history being the first national black metal band to play the island. We’d like to hail all the fanatics that showed up as well as send our gratitude and thanks out to Metal Latino Productions & Associates! The show was filmed and once we have a mixed copy in hand we will begin the tedious process of compiling a DVD for release through Arctic Music. Photos from the show can be found at www.myspace.com/kultovazazel.
